Today I went UP into the sky to see life from a different perspective, maybe next year I’ll come ⬇️ from the sky🪂 Here is to the last year of my 20’s and I must say I’ve never been more excited about growing up than now, 3️⃣0️⃣ see you next year🤍 Big shout out to my beautiful fiancé @jamiekairouz for blessing my life everyday especially this weekend & to my family (Mum & Dad) you the real MVP’s and to have this birthday with all of my siblings, sisters and all the kids was the BEST one yet!💗

I Am A Strong Blak Woman🖤💛❤️ Nartarsha Napanagka Bamblett is my name, Yorta Yorta, Warlpiri, Kurnai & Wiradjuri is where my ancestors are from. I come from the rivers & flow to the seas. I stand as I am, but you don’t see me for all that I can be. I am a blak woman and that’s complicated you see. I don’t fit into the constitution, but my vote is what you want. Counted as a citizen & “Sorry” is what I heard, but in my DNA as a blak woman, I’m still seen as a threat. As cook lays dead, colonisation is the on the fall and the reckoning of solidarity ascends. I stand with myself, with love in my heart & even in my silence my presence is loud. Because you see, being a Blak woman in this country is as political as can be. 🖤 Reflections on what today means to be me!
